Tractor Restoring Day

We had a great day today out at Barb and Garry's!  Daddy came to visit to help us work on our new tractor.  When we bought our new tractor, Garry took it back to his house to put in his shop.  Heath asked Garry to hold off on any fixes and tune-ups because my dad wants to help with them and to learn how to do it as well.  A couple of weeks ago, we picked this weekend to be the one to fix up our new tractor.  The weather was perfect, we couldn't have picked a better weekend in March if we tried.

While they were happily working on the tractor, I took my mountain bike for a ride down an old dirt road.  It was FABULOUS!  My first outdoor ride of the season...thankful it was on my mountain bike and not my road bike.  Still a little gun-shy of the road bike since my last ride of the outdoor season last fall I had my accident on top of the Wildcat hills.  This ride was perfect today!

FOR SALE: Hay

Snapped a few quick photos of our hay to try to get it SOLD.  I need to list it on Craigslist or something.  We have tried the grinders (for feedlots) and they are not taking any right now.  We have tons of it just sitting here.  Not the best hay by any stretch of the imagination, but it would help feed some type of livestock if mixed with something else.  Penney ate it all winter.

Tonight after work, I went over to TLC to learn what I needed to do to help further the website.  I cannot take credit for this beautifulness you see above as this was done by Ms. Sarah, their marketing girl.  She does a great job!  What I am working on is behind the scenes right now, to be released in the near future.  It will give guests the opportunity to browse the types of trees we offer, right from the comfort of their own home.  Exciting, exciting!  This is a great local shop!  Here, take a look around:  http://www.aulickstlc.com/.

What a lovely meal Heath put together for us this evening.  Plus, we still have the flowers from our Sweetheart Supper in February.  They add a nice addition to this already wonderfully prepared meal.
