I just learned something I didn't know. Sweet potatoes = way different than Yams. I just cut into my secret stash of extra food in my desk, to be totally surprised by the white flesh. Now, I have had tons of sweet potatoes lately and I have never seen one like this. After talking to JoAnn and a little internet research, I found that I am eating a yam. Some twist between a sweet potato and a regular white potato. F.Y.I. sweet potatoes are way better although I am very thankful for the snack as we wait on our last pea truck for the day!
