I am blessed to work very close to the Y.M.C.A. River Path. I have the opportunity to walk about 1.5 miles along the river with a stunning view of the Scottsbluff National Monument and some beautiful flowers along the way. I snapped these today as I was walking because of their pure beauty. My husband informed me that I could not have the pretty purple one at home because it is a noxious weed. I like God's humor!

I was honored when Krystal asked if I would like to take pictures at her wedding reception. It was a beautiful evening for the celebration at her parents home. Heath and I went and enjoyed the beauty of the evening! Gorgeous night!

I had a lovely morning outdoor swim at the Splash at Scottsbluff High School. This is a great part of my day! There is nothing like watching the sunrise from the pool and allowing the sun to slowly begin warming my soul. We finished the day with a visit to Gram and Pa's in Stegall. Great day!

|Good Day at Work|
This picture is something really neat! As we are establishing our yard, we decided try to plant as many perennials as I possible since they come back each year. Perennials are super expensive, especially when planting so many at once. This has truly become like a women's ministry of several different women opening up their gardens to me. They have very established gardens and need to 'thin' them out. Just word of mouth brought me to several ladies' homes from our church. Another way that we were able to plant so many varieties of beautiful flowers was through the connections made through the Facebook group called "Scottsbluff NE Area Flower and Plant Swapping Club." Great connections made and wow, the conversations we had while digging up flowers. Now, I have all these meaningful, beautiful, special gardens that carry with them a story....a story of life and how God puts us where he wants us to grow. Someday, I will be able to return the favor and share my story!
Heath made this bench from the HUGE dead tree we pulled down from the backyard. How cool to have a memory of that tree instead of just burning it. We will now have a very heavy, homemade with love bench and table to set on our back patio. How special! Heath is so creative. :)

Let the sod laying begin! Heath completed alot of prep work to get the ground ready and looking like it does today. Gram and Pa, Heath's parents, so graciously drove to Torrington, Wyoming to pick up our sod at the Torrington Sod Farm. The price difference was worth the drive. The Mundell boys helped Heath lay the sod, I set the table for the lovely take-out pizza we ordered, and the doggies tested out the newly laid sod! Truly a team effort!
