I just wrapped up my first week teaching at WNCC Harms Center in Scottsbluff. It is a great course so far. I got to open the course with an Introduction to O.S.H.A. lecture and today I taught on Bloodborne Pathogens and Record Keeping. I tried to keep it interactive with all the different handouts, group exercises, and question/answer sessions. One of the girls brought her boyfriend to class and being in industry himself, he said that he learned something as well!
What a great opportunity to meet these girls and hopefully have a positive impact on them.
